Hello, my name is Tom Counsell. I am currently a senior at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. I will complete my undergraduate degree in Computer Science this December. My greatest interest is in Human-Computer Interaction. This subtopic in Computer Science is taught in the Informatics Department, but I have managed to work my way through the departmental politics and receive the education I wanted. At the moment, I do not have a full time position waiting for me when I graduate so that is one of the higher items on my priority list right now. As much as I want to be really specific with the position I take, I don’t know how picky I can be with the state of the current economy and being tied down to Indianapolis. Whether I get my dream position or not, I still plan to pursue my dreams on the side. I have always loved keeping up with technology and I plan on be involved in changing future technologies with my ideas – not because I’m the smartest, but because I enjoy it and insist on being involved. So welcome to my professional blog! I wanted to see what all the hype was about WordPress and now I found out. Enjoy.
